  It is not just part of the name of our church, it is the power and focus of our ministry.  We realize that the way in which God has chosen to reveal Himself and His will for our lives is through His Word.  It is the means by which we can know Him, by which we can be rescued from our hopeless condition, by which we can become the men and women God desires us to be and by which we can have an impact on the world around us. 
    Therefore we take God's Word seriously.  We preach it expositionally and thoroughly.  We study it, teach it, meditate on it, and share it with others.  We love to grow in our understanding of its doctrines and desire to know what other believers down through church history have gleaned from its rich pages.
